St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital is proud to announce and welcome new board leaders and members.
Wilbur Higgins, of Newburgh, is now Chairman of the hospital’s Board of Trustees, which oversees hospital operations and guides its mission to serve the health care needs of our community. New members of the Board are Stacey Hawkins of Newburgh and Ellen Kelly of Cornwall.
James Letterio Jr. of Beacon has been named Chairman of St. Luke's Cornwall Health System Foundation, which raises funds in support of hospital initiatives. New Foundation board members are Kevin Bloom of New Windsor, John Pelella of Cornwall and Justin Sandler of Newburgh.
Barbara Mehar of Newburgh, has been appointed President of the Auxiliary, which advocates for the hospital and raises funds through endeavors including the hospital gift shops and New to You Boutique. New members are Mira Blythe of New Windsor and Bettina Louise Carter of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Incoming and outgoing board volunteers were honored recently at a reception at the Johnes Home, an affiliate of SLCH. Allan E. Atzrott, SLCH President and CEO said, “We thank our volunteer leaders for their tremendous personal sacrifice, commitment and support, which ensure the delivery of quality health care to our community." |
