SLCH Receives $25,000 from Price Chopper Foundation
St. Luke’s Cornwall Health System Foundation has received a $25,000 donation from Price Chopper Supermarkets’ Golub Foundation to support development of the Cancer Treatment Center presently under construction at the hospital’s Cornwall campus.
Sue Sullivan, Vice President of Development and Government Affairs, and Executive Director, Foundation, said, “The donations we receive from individuals, businesses and foundations like Price Chopper help us bring new facilities, programs and cutting-edge technology to our community.” She continued, “When our Cancer Center opens this fall, it will bring our comprehensive cancer program under one roof.

In addition to offering the latestadvancements in radiation oncology and other treatments, the Center will provide meeting space and other amenities to serve our friends and neighbors.Our community is fortunate to have an advocate and ally in Price Chopper, and we thank them for making this investment in our hospital for the health of our community.”
Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation was established in 1981 in an effort to enhance and improve the quality of life within Price Chopper communities. Golub Foundation Community and Public Relations Manager Barbara Page, noted that many SLCH patients also are customers of Price Chopper Supermarkets. She said, “Our company is committed to using our resources to improve the quality of life in our communities. SLCH’s new Cancer Treatment Center gave us an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way to those we serve.”
