St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital is pleased to announce the

expanded role of Renee Christiano, to Director of Physician Relations.Her new responsibilities include working to enhance physician satisfaction through initiatives involving SLCH services. She also will be involved in the recruitment of new physicians to our community. Christiano also will continue to serve as Director of Imaging Services.

“Renee is a valued and experienced member of the SLCH team who has demonstrated a commitment to our hospital and the community we serve,” said Robert S. Ross, Senior Vice President of Operations. ”As Director of Physician Relations, she will ensure that we continue to facilitate patient care by strengthening relationships with our physicians, who are essential to SLCH’s mission to be the region’s premier health care provider.”

“I’m proud to assume this new role,” said Christiano. “It will be rewarding to work more closely with our medical staff as the hospital continues to bring progressive facilities, technology and services to the region.”

A Wallkill resident, Christiano has been employed by SLCH for 20 years. She’s been pivotal in advancing the hospital’s Imaging and Interventional Radiology programs, and in improving services for physicians and patients. Christiano expects to earn an M.B.A. in April 2009.
