The cardiovascular team provides patients with the most up-to-date medical treatment in a caring and compassionate environment. All nurses are ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)-certified which means that they have undergone rigorous training for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening
medical emergencies.

SLCH offers universal beds with 24-hour, continuous-cardiac-monitoring capabilities. Wireless cardiac monitoring, a highly advanced technology, allows patients to get up and move around
and still have their heart condition continuously tracked by the cardiac care team.
After discharge, patients also receive follow-up phone calls to ensure recovery is going smoothly, to assist with post discharge appointments and to provide information regarding local community resources
if needed. |
