A Message from the Medical Director
As Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, it is my goal to work in coordination with our dynamic team to provide our community with cancer care that will treat patients through the continuum of their journey through cancer diagnosis, treatment and survival. We aim to do this by providing our patients with access to all of the necessary medical and community resources they may need throughout their time with us.

A Message from the Director of the Oncology Service Line
At the Littman Cancer Center, we aim to provide our patients and their caregivers with compassionate cancer care right in their backyard. The journey through cancer treatment is life altering and our team is here to help you each step of the way. Throughout 2016, we have worked diligently to build the oncology program at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, adding specialists and growing programs that address all of your needs before, during and after your treatment. In the last twelve months we’ve added a Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Shana Coplowitz from the Montefiore Health System to our team; we’ve expanded our Palliative Care and Support Services team to include Dr. Kirti Joseph, who works with both inpatient and outpatients to assist your comfort and care; we’ve welcomed Janelle Carr, a Nurse Practitioner who is providing primary care services to our infusion patients to assist in their ongoing needs as a patient going through treatment. We look forward to continued clinical integration with the Montefiore Health System and expansion of oncology services at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
