St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Lung Cancer Screening Program

The Early Lung Cancer Screening Program at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital provides earlier detection of lung cancer at a more treatable stage, which can lead to increased survival rates.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in the U.S. in both men and women. Generally, lung cancer is found after advancing to stages 3 or 4. This program explores the early detection and treatment of lung cancer and other diseases associated with smoking through the use of low-dose computer tomography (CT) screening.

This relatively new program at SLCH just launched in December 2016 and is designed to provide patients with ease and comfort through the screening process.
