Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to announce Marty Atkins, Lead Mechanic in Engineering, as the May Star of the Month.
Marty has been a devoted employee since June of 2004 and displays a true dedication to SLCH and all of his coworkers. He is an essential member of the engineering staff, known for being reactive to each and every call, regardless of the task at hand.
In a recent exposure in the hospital’s laboratory area, Marty was called, and came to fix the problem immediately.
“He has consistently been very responsive to the many needs of the laboratory”, said Judith Staff, Manager, Laboratory Services. “He takes initiative when he sees a solution; he does it without complaint, resistance or delay."
