Newburgh, NY – More than 20 community members took a moment to simply listen and meditate to a guided imagery CD played by Puja A.J. Thompson during her book lecture Thursday night at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH).
After Shock: From Cancer Diagnosis to Healing is an empowering step-by-step guide written from Thompson’s experience as a Cancer survivor. Thompson spoke of the need for general wellness and her passion for helping people through recovery. She encouraged the audience members, many of whom were cancer survivors, to live in the present, listen to their bodies and take charge of their health. “My experience with cancer, when using ancient healing practices as well as modern medicine was more than a physical experience,” said Thompson. “It was a heart-centered path towards great trust and deeper truths, with many little miracles along the way.”oment to simply listen and meditate to a guided imagery CD played by Puja A.J.
