St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Announces Stellar Employees of the Year
Newburgh, NY - St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) has awarded its outstanding employee awards for 2010 to two team members who exemplify the hospital’s standards of excellence and commitment to service. Dolores Jacobs, of New Windsor, an Associate in Food and Nutrition, was presented SLCH’s 2010 Star of the Year Award, while Clinical Nurse Manager Tracey Horan, also of New Windsor, received the Stellar Leader of the Year Award. The honors were presented recently by SLCH President and CEO Allan E. Atzrott during an awards’ dinner at The Powelton Club in Newburgh.
Jacobs joined SLCH in 2008 and is best known for her positive attitude, welcoming smile and dedication to her customer service. She works most often as a cashier at the Newburgh campus’s Hudson View Café and makes a point to extend a feeling of welcome and appreciation.
