St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital will honor assignments of insurance benefits for 45 days from the date of billing to the insurance company. If, at the end of 45 days, the insurance company has not settled the account, St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital will look to the patient for the final settlement of the account.

Any patient having inadequate insurance coverage, or no insurance coverage, will be requested to make appropriate deposits at the time of admission and set up a payment plan for any remaining balance.

Payment options

Payment may be made with cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, personal check or money order. Payments made after the date on the statement will appear on next month's statement.

If a patient is unable to pay the full amount, St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital has payment options available. Patients may call the Collections Department at (845) 458-4900. We want to assist each patient in meeting his or her financial responsibilities. Accounts past due will be forwarded to an agency to continue collection efforts.
