December 2010 Star - Hilda Poulos, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) has named Hilda Poulos, a Patient Care Assistant on Newburgh’s 7 North unit, as its December Star of the Month. Poulos is a Newburgh resident and has been employed at the hospital since August of 2004. She was recognized for consistently demonstrating such stellar characteristics as team spirit, cooperation, kindness and an unwavering commitment to SLCH’s mission.

November 2010 Star - Sister Diane Trotta, RN, Newburgh, NY - St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) has named Sister Diane Trotta, RN as its November Star of the Month. Sister Diane, a Cornwall resident, was selected as this month’s star for her commitment and dedication to clinical care, and specifically, her assistance with driving several hospital clinical quality initiatives.

October 2010 Star - Kathy Bloss, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) has named Kathy Bloss as its October Star of the Month. Bloss, a Newburgh resident, has been employed by the hospital for 12 years and works as the Administrative Secretary for Radiology and Physician Relations.

September 2010 Star - Lynnette Ketcham, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) has named Lynnette Ketcham as its September Star of the Month. Ketcham, a Pine Bush resident who has been employed by the hospital for fifteen years, is the Microbiology Supervisor in the Newburgh laboratory.

August 2010 Star - Patricia Goodman, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Accounts Payable Associate, Patricia Goodman, of Newburgh, as its August Star of the Month. Goodman, a four-year employee with SLCH, is best known for her hard work and dedication, and for the high level of customer service she gives to each and every customer.

July 2010 Star - Dolores Jacobs, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Dolores Jacobs, of New Windsor, as its July Star of the Month. Jacobs, an Associate in Food and Nutrition, has been an employee of SLCH for two years and is best known for her positive attitude, welcoming smile and dedication to the customers she greets as a cashier in Newburgh’s Hudson View Café.

June 2010 Star - Melinda Cavanaugh, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Melinda Cavanaugh, of Newburgh, as its June Star of the Month. Cavanaugh, an Associate in the Pain Management Department, has been an employee of SLCH for seven years.

May 2010 Star - Andrea Moresco, RN, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Andrea Moresco, of Marlboro, as its May Star of the Month. Moresco, a 22-year Registered Nurse with the hospital’s Birthing Center, recently demonstrated exemplary service, acting quickly and calmly in a potentially stressful situation. Moresco attended the birth of a newborn after the mother arrived at the hospital in advanced labor.

April 2010 Star - Alan Sargeant, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Alan Sargeant, of Newburgh, as its April Star of the Month. Sargeant demonstrated a selfless act of compassion that exceeded expectation, recently, when he came to the aid of a sick elderly man at a local grocery store. Sargeant serves the hospital as both an Emergency Department Phlebotomist and Echocardiography Tech, and has been with SLCH since 2007.

March 2010 Star - Natalia Cedillo, Newburgh, NY ¬— St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to announce Natalia Cedillo, of New Windsor, as the hospital’s Star of the Month for March. An Associate in Environmental Services, Cedillo has been an SLCH employee for eight years.

February 2010 Star - Kate Kusterbeck, RN, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to announce Kate Kusterbeck of Walden, as its February Star of the Month. A registered nurse with special training in oncology services, Kusterbeck works with patients at the Cornwall campus and has been with the organization for two years.

January 2010 Star - Joan Paneto, Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital is proud to announce Joan Paneto, of Newburgh, as the January Star of the Month. A 21 year SLCH employee, Paneto is an assistant transportation messenger at the Newburgh campus.

December 2009 Star - Lisa Mulqueen, RN, Newburgh, NY -St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to name Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Lisa Mulqueen, RN, as its December Star of the Month. As a result of Mulqueen’s expertise and quick thinking during a routine visit to the hair salon, a local woman received the life-saving medical attention she needed. Mulqueen is a Wallkill resident and 12-year SLCH employee.

November 2009 Star - Stacey Gonzalez, Supervisor in the Environmental Services Dept., Newburgh, NY - St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to announce Stacey Gonzalez of Middletown, as its November Star of the Month. A two-year SLCH employee, Gonzalez is a Supervisor in the Environmental Services Department, and is best known for her ability to quickly mobilize her team, her collaborative demeanor and warm personality.
