Your relatives and friends are welcome at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. We realize that a familiar face can be a great aid to your recovery. However, we believe that rest is also an important part of your recovery. For your well-being, please ask your visitors to observe the following guidelines:
- Children under the age of 12 are discouraged, but not prohibited, from visiting patients; however, we reserve the right to adjust the age requirement based on influenza and other pandemics and recommendations from the Department of Health. If you are uncertain, please check with the patient’s physician or nurse, call the hospital and check for signage.
- Each visitor must obtain a visitor's pass from the information desk in the lobby.
- We ask that visitation be limited to two visitors at one time.
- Please speak with your physician and your nurse to make special arrangements.

Labor and Delivery (Newburgh campus)
- Laboring patients are limited to two visitors, including the birthing partner.
- After delivery, patients may have up to three visitors, including the birthing partner.
- After 9 p.m., only the designated support person may stay.
